The Cattle Health Care & Low Stress Handling
program was developed and is presented by
Michelle Welsh.
Michelle and her husband own and operate Rocky Creek Charolais near Strathmore. She majored in Animal Science at Lethbridge Community College and has worked with cattle and horses all her life.
Michelle has extensive applied and practical experience in the feedlot industry. Since 1987, she has been providing animal health care, compiled data and training staff at various facilities on procedures, product and conduct.
She has worked with Agri Vet Health Services, Cattleland Feedyards, Western Feedlots, Bruce Farms and Castle Crow Cattle Corp.
