Livestock Industry Diversification Act - Livestock Industry Diversification (Ministerial Regulation) Provides standards of care and slaughter for game animals and Enforced by Inspectors designated by the Ministry of Agriculture This Act transferred regulatory control for game farming from the authority of Fish and Wildlife and the Wildlife Act to Agriculture. It allows for licensing of game farmers and provides authority to administer the necessary regulatory controls. It allows the development of a more diversified livestock industry that has local and international market potential. |
