AFAC working together with the livestock industry have developed programs and services for the care and handling of livestock including:

Research	Encouraging research relevant to livestock welfare.
Conferences	AFAC's Livestock Care Conferences brings together animal care specialists and representatives from all sectors of the agricultural industry.
Awards of Distinction	AFAC's Awards of Distinction program seeks to honour individuals, companies and organizations within the agriculture industry who are making a positive impact.
Reports	Livestock industry reports that provide a situational analysis of animal welfare concerns. They are intended to help clarify problems in order to lead to solutions, they are not intended to be scientific studies.
Training Courses	AFAC's livestock training courses cover handling, hauling and emergency response. See AFAC's Matched Assistance Program to help fund your event.

Display	AFAC's interactive display demonstrates the basics of farm animal care. The display is available for use at fairs and exhibitions.
